Terms of Use & EULA

These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms") are a contract between you and Love From Los Feliz ("Pop In," "we," "us") governing your use of the Pop In iOS app and related web pages (the "Service"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Pop In. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Pop In is a private, friend-scoped tool for organizing in-person gatherings (Pop Ups, Plans, Parties, and Posts), with supporting features such as friends, event chat, reminders, presence, and the Table food-awareness layer. The Service is scoped to people you connect with; it is not a public social network.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy and revokes your Sign in with Apple authorization.

4. Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

Pop In has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, share, or transmit content, or to engage in conduct, that:

  • is unlawful, harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, or that targets others on the basis of protected characteristics;
  • is sexually explicit, exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise obscene;
  • is defamatory, fraudulent, or invasive of another's privacy;
  • promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
  • infringes intellectual-property or other rights; or
  • is spam, malware, or otherwise harmful or deceptive.

You also agree not to harass, abuse, impersonate, or stalk other users, and not to misuse links, guest access, or Posts.

5. User content and license

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the audiences you choose. You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to share it.

6. Reporting, moderation, and enforcement

We provide tools to report objectionable content and abusive users (on profiles, chat messages, plans, and posts) and to block users. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours — including removing content and ejecting or banning users who violate these Terms. You can also reach our safety team at safety@popinbesocial.com. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion to enforce these Terms or protect users. There is no tolerance for objectionable content, and accounts that post it may be terminated without notice.

7. Pop In Host subscription

Some features are part of Pop In Host, an auto-renewable subscription.

  • Price: $4.99/month or $29.99/year (as displayed in the app; local pricing may vary).
  • Trial model: Pop In Host uses "first-taste-free" — each premium capability may be used once in full before subscribing. There is no separate time-boxed free trial.
  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage / cancel: You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Family Sharing is supported.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

8. Apple-specific terms (required for App Store distribution)

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • These Terms are between you and Love From Los Feliz only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
  • Your license to use the app is a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent any maintenance or support is required, Love From Los Feliz — not Apple — is responsible.
  • Love From Los Feliz, not Apple, is responsible for any product warranties and for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product-liability, legal/regulatory, and intellectual-property claims). In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Love From Los Feliz, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes intellectual-property rights.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Pop In does not provide medical advice; the Table features are informational only and you remain responsible for food-safety decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Love From Los Feliz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local law requires otherwise.
